From “Tree to Table”. As an outdoor educator/guide and tree climber, I have always loved wood. The natural beauty, grains, colors, and flaws of nature are captured in my pieces. They are by no means precision, geometrically perfect works. The scars, unevenness and asymmetry of nature is embraced and highlighted, rather than hidden. Each piece is a unique and custom creation. I especially love working with California redwood and cedar, but almost any wood is good wood.
